2007-10: Fiedbus couplers Smart_X
Smart_LAN in RoHS compatible Design
After Smart_DP and Smart_MOD are already available in RoHS compatible designs, the next module from the
Smart_X fieldbus interface Series is following: Smart_LAN is the intelligent Ethernet/RS-232 interface and
is compatible in "fit, form and function" to the previous revisions.

in the ePDA technology
The new ePDA Vario is the next step in the ePDA technology: this open frame solution supports
various scalable performance classes (up to 600 MHz, 128 MB RAM) and offers the essential interfaces like LAN
or USB as onboard plugs. In addition to the key factors like low power consumption and optimized computing
performance for mobile and space-limited applications it features high end functionality like PCI or
dual display support. Due to the expansion port on the back side further I/O and options like CAN, EIB or WLAN
interfaces can be implemented.
