SIODI - I/O concept for rapid prototyping, retrofitting and series production

The new product family SIODI offers an easy way to extend existing or future applications with important I/O channels using hard and software functional blocks.

Three HW/SW bundles for the evaluation and design-in phases are available, which offer effective evaluation and rapid prototyping. These bundles feature access to I/O peripherals via USB, PCIexpress or LVDS.

Possible I/O options via USB are CAN Layer 2, RS232, RS485 and seven GPIO Ports. At the high performance version via PCIexpress SRAM memory access as well as a USB Host and serial connection is available. The specialized version "LVDS+Touch" offers a conversion from JILI(LVDS) and USB interface for displays to JILI30, Touch- and LED-Backlightcontroller.

For series production it is possible either to integrate the tested modules in a customer specific design or to utilize it stand alone as an expansion block.
