The protection of your privacy in the processing of your personal data is an important concern we pay special attention to. Personal data collected during visits to our websites are processed by us confidentially and according to the legal provisions. Data protection and information security are part of our company policy.

The following statement provides you with a complete overview of how the b-plus GmbH ensures the protection of your data and of the types of data that are collected and the purpose of doing so.

1 Information about the collection of personal data

"Personal information" or "personal data" is defined as any information which refers to your personally (regardless of whether you are identified or only identifiable from it) such as your name, e-mail address and IP address.

If you contact us via email or a contact form, the data which you communicate to us (like email address, name, telephone number) is saved by us to answer to your questions. All incoming data in this connection will be deleted as soon as the storage is not necessary any more. If we have legal storage periods your data will not be used any more. The following will give you a detailed overview.

2 Your rights

You have the follwing rights regarding the personal data which is collected of you by us:

  • right of information
  • right of correction or deletion,
  • right of limiting the procession,
  • right of objecting the procession,
  • right of data portability.

In addition, you have the right to complain to a data protection authority about our procession of your personal data. As an example, you can do this at:

3 Collection of personal data when you're visiting our homepage

If you just visit our homepage for informational use, we just collect your personal data, which your browser sends to our server.

If you want to look at our homepage we collect the following personal data, which is necessary to show you the homepage and to guarantee stability and safety. These reasons are also our interest in the context of article 6 section 1 f GDPR which is on the other hand the legal basis of the collection.

  • IP-address
  • date and time of the request
  • time zone difference regarding Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • content of the request • access status / HTTP-status code
  • volume of data transmitted
  • website which sent the request
  • browser operating system and its surface
  • language and version of the browser software

The personal data transferred by mere looking at our website are deleted after 7 days. If data should be left, no personal reference is produced from these.

4 Cookies

In addition to the data referred to in section 3, cookies are saved on your computer when you use our Web site. Cookies are small text files, which are mapped to the browser you are using and is stored on your hard drive and with the site that sets the cookie (by us), flowing to certain information. Cookies cannot run any programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They are used to make the Internet offer total user friendly and effective.

Use of cookies:

a) This website can use the following types of cookies, their extent and functioning the following describes:

  • transient cookies (this paragraph 4 b)
  • persistent cookies (to section 4 c).

b) Transient cookies are deleted automatically when you close the browser. These include in particular the session cookies. These cookies save a so-called session ID, which can associate the different requests of your browser of the joint meeting. Thus, your computer can be recognized when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.

c) Persistent cookies are deleted automatically after a specified period which can vary depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies in your browser's security settings at any time.

d) You can configure your browser setting according to your wishes and refuse such as the adoption of third-party cookies or all cookies. We point out, that it could be, that you can use not all functions of this website.

e) We use cookies to identify you for follow-up visits if you have an account with us. Otherwise you would have to login again for each visit. Can this make the site user-friendly and effective and we generally allow the operation. This purpose is also our interest in the meaning of article 6 section 1. f DPGR, which in turn represents the legal basis for the use of it.

f) If you allow us the use of cookies through your browser settings or consent, following cookies on our Web pages are used:

  • _pk_id. 1: this for Matomo (cf. section 12) is used, one year and one month valid cookie used to collect information about our users.
  • _pk_ses. 1: this for Matomo (cf. section 12) used, 30 minutes valid cookie is used to collect information about our users.
  • fe_typo_user: this cookie is used to recognize you and is deleted after you end the browser session
  • PHPSESSID: this cookie saves your recent session regarding PHP applications and is deleted after you end the browser session

5 More features and offers of our website, passing

In addition to the purely informative use of our website, we offer various services that you can use if you are interested (such as the RMA processes, customer portal, support requests). To do this, you must specify generally more personal data that we use for the provision of the relevant service and apply the above principles to the data processing.

In principle, data you provide to us is not disclosed to third parties, as long as it is not directly mentioned in our privacy policy.

Sometimes we use for processing your data external service providers. This happens also to the operation of this site. These have been carefully selected by us and commissioned, are tied to our instructions and are regularly inspected.

Still, we may disclose your personal data to third parties if the action entries, contracts or similar services by us together with partners.

A transfer of data is carried out only under the legal regulations of data protection or prompted authorities, courts and the tax office.

A transfer of personal data to third countries, i.e. countries outside the European Union does not take place.

6 Contact form

We offer a contact form on our website, you can request information about our products or general contact. For the contact form we demand the following information from you:

In addition, you can insert voluntary disclosures and the contents of your message. Which are voluntarily provided, you (as long as they are not necessary for execution of the contract), to treat as if the use of this data is in your interest.

We need this information to process your request, applicable to attract and to reply to you.

Requests that come through the contact form on our website, are basically stored in our CRM system. We check our CRM system regularly amended, whether data can be deleted. Should not require data in the framework of a customer or prospective customer relationship or prevail over a conflicting interest of the customer, we will delete that data, unless the no statutory retention obligations preclude.

On the product pages of our company, we provide an info request form, with which you can request information about our products or get in general contact. For the info request form we demand the following information from you:

We need this information to process your request, applicable to attract and to reply to you.

8 Opposition or revocation against the processing of your data

You can at any time withdraw this opposition or revocation against the processing of your data if you have given consent to the processing of your data. Such cancellation affects the admissibility of the processing of your personal data, after you have pronounced it against us.

As far as the processing of your personal data, we rely on the interests, you may appeal against the processing. This is the case, if the processing in particular, not to the performance of a contract with you is required, which is depicted in the description of the functions each of us.

Upon exercise of such conflict, we ask for explanation of the reasons why we should process your personal data not as we performed. In case your justified opposition, we will examine the situation and are either set the data processing or customize or show you our compelling legitimate grounds upon which we continue processing.

Of course, you can object to the processing of your personal data for purposes of advertising and data analysis at any time. You can inform us about your advertising contradiction using following contact details:

9 Newsletter

With your permission you can subscribe to our newsletter, which we inform you about our current interesting products and send more electronic notification (hereinafter together called "Newsletter").

For the registration to our newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure.

This means that we send you an email after your registration to the specified email address, in which we ask you to confirm that you want the delivery of the newsletter. If you confirm your registration within 24 hours, your information will be blocked and deleted automatically after one month. In addition, we store your used IP addresses and times of registration and confirmation respectively. The purpose of the procedure is to be able to prove and if necessary investigate the possible misuse of your personal information account.

Mandatory information is your email address, your company and your full name for the purpose of sending of the newsletter and for the purpose to personally talk to you.

Another, separately marked information is voluntary. After your confirmation, we will store your email address for the purpose of sending the newsletter. Legal basis is article 6 section of 1 S. 1. a GDPR.

Your consent to the sending of the newsletter you can revoke at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can explain the withdrawal by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter-email, by email to sales(at)b-plus.com or Datenschutz(at)b-plus.com, or send a message to the contact data specified in the imprint. 

You indicate that we evaluate your user behavior when sending the newsletter. For this evaluation include the links in the sent mails IDs which are individually linked to your email address. The data is collected exclusively artists, so the IDs be linked with your other personal data, a direct person availability is excluded.

You can contradict this tracking at any time by informing us by email at sales(at)b-plus.com or Datenschutz(at)b-plus.com or by a message on the contact data specified in the imprint. The information are retained for as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. After a cancellation, we will store the data in statistically and anonymously.

10 Data processing for marketing purposes

Data processing for marketing purposes is basically for us a legitimate interest pursuant Article 6 section 1 f GDPR.

Further, the data processing takes place under the conditions of § 7 section 3 UWG.

If you are registered or listed as a customer with us, we process your contact information and can provide information about products and services, as well as relevant news regardless of the subscription.

To the processing of data for advertising purposes you have a right of objection for the corresponding communication channel with effect for the future at any time and free of charge. The affected contact address for each communication channel for the more commercial data processing is blocked by the opposition. You can explain the withdrawal by clicking on the link provided in each email, via email to sales(at)b-plus.com or Datenschutz(at)b-plus.com or send a message to the contact data specified in the imprint.

11 Use of Google maps

On individual pages of this Web site, we use the offer by Google maps. Thus, we can view interactive maps directly into the site and allow you to comfortable use of the mapping feature. Google maps is a map service of provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, mountain view, CA 94043, USA ("Google").

By visiting the site, Google receives the information that you have entered the corresponding bottom of our website. Also, you will be delivered data mentioned in paragraph 4 of this policy. This is done regardless of whether Google provides an account that you are logged in, or if no user account exists. If you are logged into Google, your data is mapped directly to your account. If you don't want the mapping to your profile on Google, you must log out before activation of the buttons. Google stores your data as usage profiles and use them for purposes of advertising, market research and tailoring its site. Guests have a right to object to against the formation of these user profiles, where you must set itself to the exercise on Google.

If you do not want that Google (in the context of Google maps on this website) collects data about you, processes or uses, you can disable in your browser JavaScript. In this case, you cannot however use the map display.

12 Use of Matomo

This website uses the Web analytics service Matomo to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. On the collected statistics, we can improve our offer and for you as a user more interesting and easy to use design. Legal basis for the use of Matomo is article 6 section 1 f GDPR.

For this evaluation cookies (please see also section 3) on your computer are saved. We store the information so collected exclusively on our server in Germany, and the data will not be disclosed to third parties. You can set the evaluation by deleting existing cookies and prevent the storage of cookies. If you prevent the storage of cookies, we point out that you perhaps cannot fully, use this Web site.

If details of our Web site are accessed, following data is stored in this context:

  • two bytes of the IP address of the user's calling system
  • the accessed webpage
  • referrer
  • the subpages which are accessed from the accessed web site
  • the dwell time on the Web site
  • the frequency of the call of the Web site

By the setting in your browser, you can prevent the storage of cookies. The prevention of the use of Matomo is possible by removing the following hook and enable the opt-out-plug-in:

Piwik Webanalytics

Matomo is used with the extension "AnonymizeIP". Thus, IP addresses are processed further shortened, a direct connection to a person is therefore excluded. The IP address sent by using Matomo from your browser is not merged with other information we collect. Your IP addresses are not completely saved, because 2 bytes of the IP address are masked (example: 192.168.xxx.xxx). In this way, a mapping of the abbreviated IP address to the calling machine is no longer possible.

The data will be deleted when it is no longer needed for the purposes of our recording. In our case, it is deleted after 7 days.

13 Change of the privacy policy

To ensure that our privacy statement always corresponds to the current legal requirements or has to be adapted to new services we reserve the right to change it at any times. If changes are made, we will inform you on our Web site.
