b-plus is now development partner of AUTOSAR
AUTOSAR (Automotive Open System Architecture) describes the merger of car manufacturers, automotive suppliers and other companies in the automotive industry. The common goal is the establishment of standardized software development for ECUs. Why do we need such a standardized architecture for the development of electronic control units? Particularly important is the scalability and compatibility for different vehicles, as well as the interaction of different software components. This also includes various safety requirements, which must be respected between the different service partners.
The AUTOSAR development partnership was founded in July 2003 by BMW, Bosch, Continental, DaimlerChrysler, Siemens VDO and Volkswagen. In the course of time, more and more development partners have been added, including b-plus GmbH with its subsidiary b-plus automotive GmbH. b-plus automotive GmbH has focused on automotive software and has more than 15 years of experience in the field of ECU development. For over 10 years b-plus has been working very successfully with AUTOSAR technologies in many projects. This is the absolute standard for our software developers and is particular used for basic software development.
In addition, b-plus is now an AUTOSAR development partner. The active cooperation in the field of AUTOSAR Adaptive in the Feature Team Diagnostics makes it possible to define the standard of tomorrow. The know-how gained through this cooperation with AUTOSAR flows into current and new customer projects. Joining AUTOSAR as a development partner enables us and our customers to use new technologies and standards at an early stage. b-plus automotive is therefore more increasingly growing to an reliable partner in the field of new technologies and future-oriented ECU development.
