MDILink is used whenever you need to get Raw Data out of advanced sensorics.

With his modular design it offers a conversion to 10 Gbit Ethernet (Converter) or tapping of the raw data stream. Along with that we offer a flexible physical adaption to the chosen sensor chip.

At it end it serves you with Sensor data on a standard 10 Gbit Ethernet line, which is easy to transfer and you can analyze with PC hardware. It grants early access to raw sensor data for algorithm development.

Description

Facilitating data recording

To ensure smooth transmission from the development patterns and their validation results to series production, it is advisable to insert an interface for measurement technology into the serial control units so as to prevent development costs arising from lack of validation.

Selection of the appropriate measurement technology interface is essential for successful validation. Implementation at a standard interface offers many advantages, e. g. a 10 Gbit Ethernet interface can be implemented in a separate measurement converter box.

These measurement converters are used to convert typical LVDS and CSI-2 interfaces to 10 Gbit Ethernet e. g. in camera sensors. Thus, the electronic control unit needs only minimum hardware or software to provide raw sensor data for the measuring technology. This allows a reliable transmission of high bandwidths from the control unit and, with 10 Gbit Ethernet, reliable transport without any loss over long distances.
