The QX550 is a network card for PCIe slots with four 10GBASE-T interfaces. The Platform Sync Board (PSB) is used to synchronize the computer's clock with other devices. It also has a GPS module and a special connection for precise time setting. The PSB is not plugged directly into the computer, but all interfaces are established via the QX550 network card.

The (g)PTP retrofit enables the integration of Precision Time Protocol (PTP) into any PC. Compared to software-only retrofits, this solution offers the highest accuracy. Conventional software solutions achieve an accuracy of less than 100 ms, while our hardware solutions can offer an accuracy of less than 100 ns.
Thanks to their 4x 10G interfaces based on Intel550 network controllers, the QX550 Time Sync Ports are compatible with all operating systems. This enables seamless integration into different system environments and facilitates time synchronization across different platforms.
