The focus of our ISO 9001 certified management system is customer orientation. Our workflow-based, collaborative and interactive process management system with its company-wide uniform processes involves all employees in participating actively. This ensures the continuous improvement of all processes.
Among other things, the DGQ has set itself the goal of comprehensively stimulating, developing, promoting and spreading the ideas of quality management including its systems in their social, economic, legal, operational, entrepreneurial and scientific environments and relationships in all branches of the economy and public life.
Our systems experience qualification standards where we carry out extensive testing on our technology. Tests along the development cycle take place in advance in our in-house test laboratory. In addition, we work with independent accredited organizations for our testing, approvals and certifications.
In order to meet the constantly increasing requirements also in the automotive sector, we carry out extensive tests on our measurement technology. The goal is to ensure 100% functionality in the vehicle.
As an external organization, CSA Group operates some of the most modern laboratories in Europe for this purpose. An important aspect in our qualification standards is that we can verify changes to the technology or specifications quickly and in accordance with the standards.
Tests are often carried out with the equipment switched off, followed only by an assessment. b-plus goes far beyond this approach. All our devices are tested under real operating conditions, where the systems have to pass all temperature and vibration tests under 100% stress at maximum CPU & GPU load.
During the temperature and vibration tests no loss of performance or problems are allowed to occur. To simulate the permanent use in the vehicle trunk for example, we test according to LV124 with an amplitude of 6.5 m/s2 or more. This defined acceleration of the vibratory plate generates a load of up to 5G on the components within the system. However, tests in a b-plus demo vehicle over several 100,000 km and 3 years of operation, have shown that in practice internal accelerations of no more than 3G maximum occur when used in the vehicle trunk.
