b-plus technologies and IBM accelerate data management for autonomous driving

Since the beginning of the year, b-plus technologies GmbH and IBM Deutschland GmbH have been cooperating in a partnership for solutions to jointly manage the flood of data in the development of autonomous driving.

Experience our solutions with our product experts at IFAT (The world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management).

You will find the booth with our products at the joint booth of VAK Municipal Vehicles and Equipment Industry Association at FGL.713/9. There we show innovative solutions in the field of mobile automation, from agricultural and construction machinery to municipal vehicles. We present our own developments of small controllers, ISOBUS solutions and display solutions.

The management of measurement data involves high demands on the entire process and tool chain: starting with the collection of test data, to its storage and up to the processing. b-plus technologies and IBM unite their know-how and meet these challenges together.

"It is our mission to solve the challenge arising with the data volumes of autonomous driving for our joint customers." Alexander Noack, Managing Director of b-plus technologies GmbH, emphasizes. "IBM Storage Solutions tie in excellently with our portfolio at several points."

b-plus technologies GmbH is a tool specialist in the fields of testing, validation and safeguarding of automated and autonomous systems. It develops hardware and software components as well as complete system solutions for its customers. The focus is on a modular, robust and reliable product portfolio. This can be individually designed and adapted according to customer requirements. The intelligent combination of building blocks and services allows scalable and investment-safe overall solutions to be realized quickly.

"The development of systems for autonomous driving is being pushed by this symbiosis," Frank Krämer, IT System Architect at IBM Deutschland GmbH, summarizes. This is evident in joint webinars and elaborations.

The webinar series "The Data Sushi Lessons" highlighted the symbiosis in early February. Frank Krämer explained the importance of efficient Big Data Management in the context of data recording of automotive measurement data and test fleet management.
