The Ethernet Switch MDSwitch SN2100 expands the b-plus product portfolio with a high performance switch of the data center class for the mobile application, for example in test vehicles. Equipped with a high performance ASIC and 16 100 GbE ports a throughput up to 3,2 Tb/s is achievable.
This enormous throughput is complemented by optimized latency behavior. All 16 ports can be used very flexibly in the range from 10GB/s to 100GB/s - e.g. up to 64 10/25GbE ports are possible.
A CTSS (Cluster Time Sync Service) extension, which is essential for measurement technology, adds very extensive features with special TSN functions in the area of time synchronization and thus ensures, for example, smooth cooperation with AVETO network nodes, as well as components that support the 802.1AS or IEEE1588 standard.
MDSwitch SN2100 supports a variable and scalable network of high performance components in a mobile environment.
