With the trophy, the DLG recognizes the inventive spirit of the supplier industry along with its great importance to agricultural technology. Systems and components play a key role in the development of innovative agricultural machinery. With the "Systems & Components Trophy - Engineers' Choice", DLG recognizes components or systems with novel or significantly improved concepts that can make a significant contribution to the development and production of agricultural machinery and other off-highway machinery.

Enabling smaller implements to connect into the ISOBUS easily and quickly, the innovation allows the visualization and control of 11 inputs and outputs for digital and analog signals directly at the tractor Virtual Terminal (VT). The complete configuration can be done at the VT with no configuration PC needed. This is an advantage as up until now, due to costs, mainly only larger implements have been supported by ISOBUS functionalities. With no licenses or memberships needed, the innovation is an opportunity for manufacturers of smaller implements to offer ISOBUS compatibility. Older implements also benefit with the available retrofit version designed for the aftermarket. For more information about the b-ISOBUS IO Gateway, please visit the product page.

The list of nominees can be viewed on the show website. The final Trophy winners will be selected from this shortlist of "nominees" in a second round, judged by the jury of development engineers from the agricultural machinery manufacturers exhibiting at Agritechnica.

"AGRITECHNICA digital", which started in November 2021, will be available as planned on the digital platform "DLG Connect" until the end of March 2022. Visitors to the platform will have the opportunity to find out about the latest offers and information from agricultural machinery manufacturers, take part in digital events and network with companies and farmers.
 
The next AGRITECHNICA 2023 will be held in rotation from November 12 to 18, 2023.
