Deggendorf, November 4, 2025 – With the LOGifyer B2, b-plus introduces the latest generation of its successful LOGifyer product family. The system was developed specifically for demanding automotive applications and combines maximum performance with flexible functionality. The LOGifyer B2 is not only a powerful data logger, but also functions as network-attached storage (NAS) and supports the execution of virtual machines (VMs) for advanced data processing and visualization. b-plus thus offers a future-proof, compact all-in-one solution for modern vehicle development and test environments.
At the heart of the system is the high-performance LOGifyerOS, a Linux-based operating system that has been specifically optimized for the LOGifyer B2 hardware. LOGifyerOS enables efficient raw data logging across all supported interfaces and offers extensive functions for precise time synchronization. An integrated SMB share allows direct access to the logging storage, while a powerful REST API interface enables advanced configuration and control. In addition, the system offers the option of live distribution of recorded data and support for virtual machines for further data processing and visualization. Operation is via an intuitive, web-based user interface that ensures easy setup and monitoring.
The hardware of the LOGifyer B2 also impresses with its robustness and performance. At its heart is a modern x86 architecture with an 8/16-core CPU and 64 gigabytes of RAM. The PCIe interfaces of the various versions of the B2 allow the device to be expanded with an additional 4 x 10G Ethernet ports or the integration of a GPU for visualization.
In addition, up to 120 terabytes of logging memory are available via the integrated xSTORAGE interface. An automotive-grade 12-volt power supply and an extended temperature range ensure reliable operation under demanding environmental conditions – both in the vehicle and on the test bench.
For maximum connectivity, the LOGifyer B2 can be expanded with a variety of decentralized interface components. Ethernet standards such as 1GBase-T, 10GBase-T, 100MBase-T1, and MGBase-T1 are supported, as are vehicle buses such as FlexRay, CAN, and LIN. In addition, interfaces that tap MIPI CSI2® data via GMSL, FPDLink, or MIPI A-Phy® SerDes connections can also be connected.
With its combination of logging, storage, and virtualization functions, the LOGifyer B2 offers a scalable and powerful platform for data management in vehicle development. The system enables efficient data acquisition, processing, and transmission directly in the vehicle or on the test bench and can be seamlessly integrated into existing development processes.
